Family owned and operated
The Stagecoach Ballroom is one of the last large nightclubs in the state of Texas that is family owned and operated. Jean Czajkowski and her husband Kiran Desai manage the nightclub. John-Paul Chidgey and Julia Pearson are consultants. Jennifer Chidgey is Jean's oldest daughter. She returned from Southern California four years ago to come back to where it all began. She opened several restaurant across the country and started her own photography company.  John-Paul is an attorney and counselor at law. He is practicing criminal, family and personal injury law. He has been awarded the title "bartender of the year" by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. John-Paul has also recently started Chidgey Leather, designing personalized leather bags and accessories. Julia graduated from UNT with a degree in Hospitality Management, her experience at The Mansion in Dallas, The Jefferson Hotel, Republic National Distributing Company, The Catering Director at Mira Vista - has lead her to creating her own company for event designing at juliaISM.com. Kiran's Daughter Anjuli graduated from the School of Business UT Austin and is now working in marketing for Volutions in Austin.  

The Stagecoach Ballroom has kept country music alive in the DFW area for over 50 years. One of the largest Dance Halls in Texas, with a dance floor covering over 3,500 square feet, you never have to worry about bumping into another couple, but only to tip your hat. The minute you walk into the doors you feel at home.

Opening in the mid 50's, The Stagecoach Ballroom has survived three locations and two families. March 2011, the Czajkowski family will celebrate 35 years of family ownership. In the 80's the Stagecoach was home to a national motion picture titled, "Square Dance," starring Rob Lowe, Wynona Rider, Jason Robards and Jane Alexander. Today, it strives to provide local musicians a place to entertain as well as welcoming artists from all over the Country. Artists ranging from: Gene Watson, Johnny Bush, Johnny Rodriguez, T. Graham Brown, Carl Vaughn, Kitty Wells, Ray Sharp, Eddie Raven, TG Sheppard, David Ball, Billy Joe Royal, Jody Nix and the Texas Cowboys, Dale Watson, Sonny Burgess, Johnny Lovett and Neon Therapy, Billy Mata & The Texas Tradition, Jake Hooker & The Outsiders Band, Tommy Alverson, Benji Allen...and many others perform regularly.
